Special Populations Train at Magic Sports!

Magic Sports will reach out to serve ALL athletes. State-of-the-art facilities will be built for soccer, baseball/softball and more...and Magic will be providing fields that are designed for easy access by special populations. Special population athletes will be able to compete in tournaments in many sports, and parents and fans will be able to watch their games and celebrate their talents. We all know how important the sport experience is for developing athletes, and all athletes will be ablet to find a home at Magic Sports.

Equalizing Travel Baseball Expenses For Northeast Teams

Once a player reaches his sophomore season in high school baseball takes on a new look with the factor leaning more towards showcasing for college coaches than winning. While winning is always good the importance for a player at this age level becomes focused on finding a college that fits their baseball skill level as well as academic needs.
The problem lies in that we find the Northeast players and families consistently traveling to the southern states for the bigger baseball events. Very rarely is there an event in the Northeast that brings in the southern coaches to look at our players. Instead we are found paying high travel expenses through air fare, car rentals along with the lodging and food.
Magic Sports will even the playing field out and bring in college coaches from around the country to us. With the complex able to house the coaches this will help not only bring in the coaches in but bring the southern teams up north to compete. With Atlantic City just minutes away it makes the Magic Sports Tournaments a great vacation option at the same time. While still traveling to some great southern events this will cut travel in half and make obtaining a college scholarship cost effective process for the Northeast.

Girls Softball

Today a friend and I were riding through Gosse Gossage park (yes that hall of famer). Young women were practicing softball on every field. We stopped to watch for a few minutes and we saw the gamut of talent. Great hitters and fielders mixed with not-so-great (but trying very hard) players. Magic Sports will provide a venue for female athletes of all ages to not only play softball but to play every sport under the sun. And for those who think they aren't so great, well Magic Sports will provide the very best training that any athlete can obtain. C'mon people, it's time to get excited about what is about to happen in New Jersey. Al

FIGHTING in SPORTS

Earlier this week, the Detroit Shock and Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) made the highlight films on ESPN and most news programs when a bench-clearing brawl initiated by Plenette Pierson and Candace Parker filled the court near the end of a loosely-called game. What do you think about women's basketball following in the (not-so-shining) footsteps of the NBA to resort to swinging fists to vent their frustrations in an athletic contest? True, suspensions were given, but is this really what we want to see on ANY playing field/court?

Let's use our heads here and provide young athletes with some guidance about what is right and wrong on the playing field/court. Magic Sports will offer a variety of programs for athletes including tackling issues of sportsmanship and fair play...and these topics are sorely needed for both athletes and many parents! After all, if we wanted to see a fight, we could go watch kickboxing!

It's Raining in New York State again this week..

How many of you have been rained out.. If you were scheduled to play 4 games and lost, 2 of the 4, did you get any money returned to you.

How many have been rained out all week-end,( any money back? ) you've already paid you Hotel nights, what do you do, ( go home? ) What do you do with a Team of 18 Players, boys or girls, no matter what sport you play.

Here the Greatest Place to play the game of Baseball that I know in the World if you're 10 years old or 12 years old, Lou Presutti's, Cooperstown Dreams park. If you haven't been there take the time to take a tour of place that creates memories that last a Life time.
Lou is a Great person, who has dedicated his life to making sure that Dreams Park and the experience is hard to duplicate.

At Magic Sports... the games will continue no matter how hard the rain comes down. the Magic Arena is 300x500 with 90' ceiling height and our other building is 275x350. We will play the games around the clock, 24 hours a day..

Travel Sports..

1. What are the main problems that Families deal with as they travel with their sons and daughters from Tournament to tournament throughout the country.

A. The quality of the fields that the games are being played on..

B. Location of the fields compared to your hotel. ( here's a example of what we had to put up with in Va. this past week end. Our Hotel was in Va. Beach, every field was at least a 1/2 hour away, Saturday our 1st game was 1/2 hour away at 10am our next game was at 6pm, 40 minutes from that field but we went back to our hotel for a few hours and then had to travel 1 hr. and 20 minutes to our next game.)

C. When we're traveling, we have 18 players and 18 families and brothers and sisters, Grandma's and Grandpa's, where do we eat between games. ( not many fields that we play at have any kind of food and the ones that do have food, the choices are few.)

D. Entertainment for all ages.

2. What problems do you deal with, what would make your Life easier as you and your family hit the raod on the Tournament trail.
